"Dear, Dear. What do we have here? A sliding dear carcass moving along of its own accord; or a small wolf being molested by a deer carcass and trying but failing to escape?" The words left the muzzle of the jet-black wolf before he could think clearly. Watching Singatari struggle along was entertaining to say the least, but the smell of blood had lured him just as close to the carcass that was being barely moved along by the infuriated she-wolf who looked just about ready to give in.
He was high up, on a rock, watching her as though she was prey. His light blue eyes, so contrasted the jet black that circled them that he looked positively gorgeous and intimidating all at once. With a leap into the air, he landed before her, and dipped his head "My, my, Singatari. Now you wouldn't happen to need some assistance right now would you?" he let out an amused gruff, as his eyes flashed over to the carcass, just for a moment before he looked back to her.

The she-wolf's ears had heard the brainless words, and right away, she knew it was Ink. Singatari didn't exactly get along with Tempest Pack's alpha. The only thing they had in common was that they led. She wasn't expecting that certain wolf to be here, even though she knew this was The Valley. Singatari knew this was not her land. But it's not his, either... The wolf stood just before her. Singatari let the thing slip from her jaws. She looked at the black wolf, right in the eye. She showed no fear. "Actually, no, I wouldn't." the black and brown she-wolf ensured. She knew what he wanted. She wasn't going to let him have it just by talking trash. Attachments:

He raised an eyebrow at her defensiveness, and said, almost sarcastically "My goodness, dear. There is not need to twist your tail into the shape of a daisy over me offering assistance. I am merely asking for you to let me help or risk being hurt by someone" his eyes flashed as he watched her intently "or kidnapped. Not that I have the intention to do that. I only fight enemies who I know will have a chance of winning. You, please take no offense, would lose to my size one-on-one paws-DOWN." He took a step forward "so... how about I get to help you with your easy-caught prey."

Singatari was getting tired of the black wolf spouting garabage, it's nose up in the air like he owns the place and is better than every creature of the forest [and indeed DOESN'T and ISN'T]. Singatari wondered what got him thinking she was taking what he had said offensively. She smirked. "I wasn't being defensive. I was just simply telling you I'm fine. No need for assisstance." The she-wolf was seriously confused. Why would he think he's bigger than her? Singatari was the exact size of him just not as thickset or corpulent. She glanced at a rock, then his gruff legs. "And, wow... just wow. You really think you can take me?" she laughed, and sat down, looking right at his face. Now, she was being a bit defensive. Her head tilted sideways, she waited for his supposively "smart" reply.

"You are indeed very fine" he chuckled "even for a wolf of your kind. And it is not the fact of me taking on you in battle, but you taking on ME. I am not saying that I want to fight you. I am saying I will hurt you if we get that far. There is no need for us to be mortal enemies or however you call it. I just want some food. Surely if I help you carry it half way then take a small amount of it, then you can manage to carry the rest of it until you are in the safety of your own territory to share with the swine who stand below you." he smirked, loving how he had just called her lower pack-mates, pigs.

By now, she didn't really care what he said... and name-calling is really immature. But evidently that's how he played his game. She just wanted him to leave her alone. "Look, I really don't want a fight. You just can't expect to insult somebody without getting insulted back. Here's how you can help." Singatari explained. She ripped off three legs with three sharp jerks and laid them before him. "Take some weight off my load and return it to the vermin that stand below you." The black-and-light-brown she-wolf eyed the brute intimidatingly, acklowedging he had backed down enough for her to turn and leave so he could return to his nest of rats. Singatari took the torn-up carcass by the scruff and threw it on her back, finally displaying her strength. She turned and swiftly trotted away, her head held high. The she left him there to himself.

"I am not insulting you." he said. flatly, all of the boasting gusto out of his voice now. I am seriously trying to help and benefit myself, but you are being quite unaware of all of my helping hints. you must be off your rocker to think that I am acting immature. I am acting like a hungry male wolf." he blinked as the legs were set before him. his least favorite part but- he didn't have to catch it. How easy. "thank you, Singatari." he called after her, before digging into the leg that was nearest to his jaw.

She heard his reply. "You're welcome," she barked mellowly. Singatari was dreary with the thought of never having settled peace with the other Packs. She quietly carried on about her way, observing the distance. She left the Valley for her camp, the deer carcass on her back. She stalked through quietly and unnoticed. Singatari's fur shone with the evening light.
